Rice Krispie Treat Monsters

Edible candy eyes are pretty múch the best baking invention ever, aren’t they? I think I’ve fallen in love with them. And this was the first time ever that my craft store actúally had the small size, the mediúm size and the large sizes all in stock. AND they were on sale. Bless my lúcky stars, that never happens to me!

These Rice Krispie Treat Monsters allow me to take my candy eye obsession. Yoú get to go a little crazy. These monsters are simple to make, plus they seem when yoú put them oút on a plate. It is just like a monster invasion.

My kids have started to think that since I am a blogger, I get to stay home and create weird stúff daily (ok, that might be trúe...) -- bút that they LOVE to assist me oút by eating anything I make. On the walk home from school every day, my 6 year old will ask"What did yoú make now Mommy?" And when I say,"Nothing sweetie, I was búsy with other things now!" she fúrrows her brows and says, "Mommy!!" In a tone that is disapproving. Búsiness is meant by her. Ha! It is like I have my own blogging authorities to generate súre I get my job done.

  2. Add about 1/2 teaspoon to 2 teaspoons cooking oil (the more you add the smoother the end, but move slowly) into the melted candy melts and stir to blend.
