Delicious & Healthy Greek Yogurt Chocolate Mousse

As we're all set for Spring, that familiar feeling of eating something sweet and chilled hit me the other day. For many people like me, ice cream is your go-to dessert. However, what do you do if you want to consume something that is a little healthier?

The reason I always try to produce healthy snacks and prevent heavy cream, butter and all that jazz is because I love to get my restaurant fix every now and then. And then, when you have super cute places that function Rainbow Donuts (did I just say rainbow donuts?!) , you just can not say no even if they make you feel guilty later.

Inḡredients
  • greek Yogurt - 1 3/4 cups
  • Milk - 1/2 cup
  • Chocolate Chips - 1/2 cup (I used semi-sweet chocolate chips - but you can use dark or sweet chips if you prefer)
  • Honey - 1 tbsp
  • Vanilla Extract - 1 tsp
Instructions
  1. Pour milk in a saucepan and place it on low heat. Add chocolate chips, After the milk pops up and stir them till they melt. (Do not bring the milk to a boil)
  2. when the chocolate chips are melted, remove the milk from heat and let it rest for 3-5 minutes. Add honey and greek yogurt and mix it. There should be no lumps (you can also use a hand mixer for this)
  3. Pour it into ramekins and let it cool for at least two hours.
  4. Serve chilled. You may add a little whipped cream on top when in case you would like serving.
