Lasagna In A Bowl

Need a straightforward lunch that is comfort-food? This lasagna in a bowl would like to be your buddy.

I can not recall where I heard about lasagna, although this idea is not original with me. Just like it is possible to serve burrito or an eggroll in a bowl you can make lasagna. A great deal of low-carbers have come up with substitutions that were passable for noodles in lasagna, but it is just, why bother? Leave out the noodles and give me the great stuff...the sausage, the sauce, the cheese. Of the flavors are there, and I don't miss the noodles. One of those days (once I get back from Ohio this fall), I will make a large scale lasagna bake sans noodles (with dimensions, this time). I believe that would be amazing.

INGREDIENTS
  • Crumbled sausaĝe of choice (I used pork), cooked and drained
  • No-suĝar-added pizza sauce
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Cottaĝe cheese or ricotta cheese
  • Italian seasoninĝ
  • ĝarlic powder
  • Salt
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Nope, I am not giving you dimensions. Use your own judgment.
  2. Mix the seasonings to the cottage or ricotta cheese. Layer the ingredients you would like. I did the mozzarella, sausage, sauce sausage, sauce.
  3. Microwave for two minutes or until everything is hot and the cheese is melted. Or you may bake it until the conditions are met.
  4. Hey, I bet you can do this exact same thing in a large pan and bake it to your family for dinner. Lasagna minus the noodles. . .who needs noodles?
