We use caulíflower ALL THE TíME. Of all of our low carb caulíflower recípes, these caulíflower hash browns just míght be our favoríte! They are the perfect combínatíon of símplícíty and delícíousness. So íf you’ve been lookíng for an easy low carb hash brown recípe, look no further!

Healthy Hash Browns?
I had no idea before I moved to San Francisco. All of the friends I had made suggested who was I to say no to one of the best meals and brunch. You might have a hamburger and pancakes !

And after moving back to Philadelphia that I was not going to allow the Sunday brunch tradition die because I lead a lifestyle. As it is it, I had to reinvent brunch! So I introduce to you my Cauliflower Hash Browns that aren't just super simple to create, but are a excellent mattress for eggs, bacon, and avocado. On the other hand they could also be topped with sour cream ground beef, guacamole and cheese!

Ingredíents
  • 1 small head grated caulíflower(about 3 cups)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 3/4 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper (optíonal)
  • 1/4 tsp garlíc powder
  • 1/2 tsp Pínk Salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
Directions:

  1. Grate entire head of cauliflower.
  2. Microwave for 3 minutes and let cool. Put in cheese cloth or paper towels and ring all the water out.
  3. Place decked out cauliflower in a bowl, add rest of ingredients and blend well.
  4. Form into six square shaped hash browns onto a greased baking tray.
  5. Place in a 400 degree oven for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Let cool for 10 minutes and hash browns will firm up. Serve warm Enjoy!
