My Favorite Keto Breakfast Sandwich

My favoríte keto breakfast sandwích ís low ín carbs, hígh ín healthy fats and off the charts ín flavor! The sausage on the outsíde ís the perfect touch to make you not míss the bread at all!

I am a cheese type of woman, and I am unapologetic about eating breakfast foods.
...or for EVERY meal of the day!

Back in the day, I got the name of Breakfast Sandwich Maker Extraordinaire, with yummy flavors always sandwiched between two pieces of toast, bagels, English muffins, you name it...
Not great for my body!
I needed a simple treatment so I wondered what it'd be like when I inverted the sandwich to use sausage patties when I first began Keto/Low Carb.

Recipe adapted from here
  • 2 sausage pattíes
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp sharp cheddar
  • 1/4 medíum avocado, slíced
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp sríracha (to taste)
  • Salt, pepper to taste

  1. In skillet over medium heat, cook sausages per package instructions and set aside
  2. In small bowl place cream cheese and sharp cheddar. Microwave for 20-30 seconds until melted
  3. Mix cheese with sriracha, set aside
  4. Mix egg with seasoning and create little omelette
  5. Fill omelette with cheese sriracha mix and assemble sandwich
