No Bake Chocolate Mousse Tart

This is the creamiest, dreamiest low carb dessert ever. Sugar-free chocolate mousse in a grain-free chocolate cookie crust. it's no bake and so easy to make!

There are a number of recipes that bring. This"Aha, this method/ingredient/recipe is so perfect, so right, so simple, I want to consider this for future use". I find that I am stuck with by those minutes, and I will call them up. It is amazing, really, because I can not recall what I walked to get, or what day it is half the time. My life is busy and my mind is over-cluttered, and I lose my keys and my phone (and my thoughts!) constantly. But those recipe AHA moments get filed away in some brain-space that was coordinated and then are placed anticipating the moment they are needed by me. It makes my job more easy I do not need to struggle to remember pieces and those bits

And in this instance, that small bit of recipe information did not have to wait to be remembered. I was eager to put that sucker to use, when I made my Easy Blender Chocolate Mousse. It's such a fantastic recipe obviously, by itself, but my mind recognized that it would be good as a component of other recipes. Cakes, pies, tarts, fillings for biscuits oh, how about in pavlova? The options are endless. I have plans for this stuff. Chocolate-filled plans, Significant.

Plan Numero Uno has been implemented. A super tart with chocolate mousse filling a chocolate crust, and a whipped cream . An low carb dessert that tastes and looks like you put some elbow grease into it, but that just takes 30 minutes to whip up. It does need to place for some time, but this is 1 dessert you can all create a couple of hours ahead of guests without turning on the oven. Only press on that crust blend the filling ingredients, let set and pour in. Spread you are done and some sweetened whipped cream, shave a little chocolate. Minimal and no fuss muss.

And mind-glowingly deliciousness that is chocolate-y ensues. This was SO good that I have been dreaming about it ever since. Plan Number Among Operation Blender Mousse is a success.

No Bake Chocolate Mousse Tart
ìngredìents
Crust:
  • 1 1/4 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup powdered Swerve Sweetener
  • 5 tbsp butter melted
Chocolate Mousse Fìllìng:
  • 3/4 cup whìppìng cream
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened nut mìlk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 ounces good qualìty unsweetened dark chocolate chopped (do not use sweetened chocolate here, as your mousse may not set properly)
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 6 tbsp powdered Swerve Sweetener
  • 1/2 tsp espresso powder optìonal, boosts chocolate flavour
  • 3 large eggs*
Toppìng:
  • 1 cup whìppìng cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered Swerve Sweetener
  • 1/4 tsp vanìlla extract
  • 1/2 ounce dark sugar-free chocolate
Directions
Crust:
  1. Lightly grease a 9-inch Skillet with a removable bottom.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the almond flour, cocoa powder, and simmer. Add butter and stir till the mixture clumps together.
  3. Press evenly and firmly into bottom and up sides of prepared skillet. Refrigerate until filling is prepared.
Chocolate Mousse:
  1. In a small pan, combine cream, almond or cashew milk, and butter. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
  2. In a blender, combine unsweetened chocolate, cocoa powder, sweetener, and espresso powder. Pour cream mixture and mix until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and blend again until smooth (*if you're worried about the eggs, use pasteurized shell eggs like Safest Choice). Pour into crust and chill at least 1 hour, until firm. Gently press on the pan in the ground and place on a serving dish.
Topping:
  1. Beat whipping cream with vanilla and simmer until it holds stiff peaks. Spread to the edges of the tart over mousse.
  2. Using a cheese grater, shave the dark chocolate over the whipping cream. Let set a bit in the fridge.
