Low Carb Breakfast Pizza

I love breakfast food, even though I’m not a huge breakfast eater. I can eat eggs any time of the day so when Sunday Supper came up with an egg theme for this week’s supper, I knew right away I wanted to make a low carb breakfast pizza.

Using my favourite pizza toppings this breakfast pizza was made by me like crust using a frittata. The end result was delicious and I like that it was low carb. I am constantly making those low carb recipes.

The best thing about this recipe is that you can place. Bacon of course could be yummy but you could do a pepperoni pizza with mozzarella and sauce.

That tried and it was terrific! Or you could do a red onion and goat cheese. A great deal of combinations would work.

Low Carb Breakfast Pizza
ìngredìents
  • 12 eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 oz sausage
  • 2 cups peppers slìced
  • 1 cup cheese shredded
Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Add peppers to microwave for 3 minutes.
  3. Brown sausage in cast iron skillet.
  4. Take out and set aside.
  5. Mix eggs, cream, pepper and salt together and add to skillet.
  6. Cook for 3-5 minutes before the sides begin to set up.
  7. Add to oven and bake. If you need a drier crust bake it but if you want it moist bake it.
  8. Take out and add sausage, cheese and peppers.
  9. Set under broiler for 3 minutes.
  10. Let sit for 5 minutes.
