Raspberry Sunrise Smoothie

With our Cabo getaway just one week away, i’ve been trying very hard to cut down on the heavy snacks and indulging in super easy smoothies. i’ve made at least 10 different smoothie variations in the last 2 weeks but this raspberry mango smoothie has to be my absolute favorite. Plus, it’s so fun to look at!

And the best thing about this smoothie is that you only want 4 ingredients -- orange, mango, raspberries and orange juice. That's it!

The portion that is raspberry does not have a flavour, but the balance of sweetness is perfection, after you swirl in that cherry goodness. It is not too sweet but just enough to get your morning.

And if you are not into smoothies for breakfast, these go as midnight snack or a drink. Midnight smoothies sound somewhat unconventional but at least you are cutting down on cookies and these midnight brownies. Or is that just me?

ìngredìents:
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen raspberrìes
  • 2/3 cup mìlk
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen mango chunks
  • 2/3 cup orange juìce
DIRECTIONS:
  1. Combine raspberries, milk and 1/2 cup ice in blender until smooth; set aside.
  2. Combine mango, orange juice and 1/2 cup ice in blender until smooth; set aside.
  3. Serve raspberry mixture immediately, topped with cherry mixture.
