Dump and Start Instant Pot Alfredo

Instant Pot Dump and Start Alfredo made completely from scratch in under 20 minutes! This rich, creamy & dreamy meal is picky eater and kid friendly- making this meal a no-brainer!

Alfredo. Do you know what's far better than alfredo? Alfredo made in under 20 minutes..with just 5 (fine, 7 if you count pepper & salt ) ingredients? Yeah, I went there.

We eat this for dinner once a week since it's SO delicious! Where I understand I will be brief on time I try to save it, but let's be honest, it is so good I will make it when I have all the time.

This is a recipe- great for novices Instant Potters, and kid approved!

Recipe adapted from here
Dump and Start Instant Pot Alfredo
  • 1 1/2 cups chìcken broth
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 tsp mìnced garlìc, drìed
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 lb dry lìnguìne noodles, broken ìn half
  • 3/4-1 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
Instructions
  1. Add the broth, garlic, cream, salt, pepper and noodles into the instantaneous pot in that order. Don't STIR, but be sure all noodles are coated. Thats fine if you will need to transfer some noodles around.
  2. Establish your Instant Pot into Manual for 6 minutes (I like my noodles with a little bite to them, if you prefer yours milder I would recommend cooking for a minute or two more ) and then allow it naturally discharge its pressure for another 6 minutes afterward quick release.
  3. Let the sauce and noodles sit for a minute or so. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. If it does not cool for a minute or two, your cheese won't melt into the sauce.
  4. Gradually stir in the parmesan cheese.
  5. It is ready to eat, Love!
