Ever have one of those days you crave chocolate? I think we all do and if you for some bizarre reason do not then please only leave today:-RRB- Well, not entirely...but check out something such as lemon hummus instead:)

A bit of chocolate will suffice but on other days I need a huge chocolaty spoonful of joy. Please tell me I am not the only one!

I tried searching for a chocolate mousse recipe but only found ones that I thought were complicated. Avocado was used by some chocolate mousse recipes I could not bring myself to use my avocado, and though that's healthy and delicious. Recipes used a whole lot of tofu and I am just not a fan.

So it should work in a chocolate mousse so I guessed coconut milk and coconut cream operate in vegan cheesecakes. When it stinks, if you get air into it it will get nice and airy. The secret is to beat the life. There is no way to explain it:-RRB- You want there to be air bubbles on top that it just seems silly. If you do not have one on hand or can not whisk you can use an immersion blender to froth up the milk.

When it seems like it does above easy pour the mixture into bowls ramekins, or other form which will hold it.

Let it set in the fridge for at least 4 hours. I love to wait overnight...I know it's incredible hard but it's worth the wait.

Oh, and do you create a mint chocolate mousse? Duh! Chocolate chips!

I didn't add a sweetener to this chocolate mousse (if you want to, check the notes) so adding chocolate chips on top gives the mousse a bit of sweetness, not to mention a very satisfying crunch:-RRB-

Dig in! After waiting that Though if you make enough of these beforehand, there is no wait at 24, you deserve it!

Vegan Mint Chocolate Mousse Recioes
  • 1 1/2 cups Coconut Mílk
  • 6 tablespoons Cacao or unsweetened Cocoa
  • 1/4 teaspoon Peppermínt Extract
  • Vegan Chocolate Chíps optíonal
  1. Whisk together all 3 components until air bubbles appear.
  2. Pour into two large ramekins and allow to set in refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. After set chocolate mousse is set, love!
